Packers ink first-round pick Bulaga

07/30/2010 - Green Bay, WI (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Green Bay Packers have signed first-round draft pick Bryan Bulaga.

The Green Bay Press Gazette is reporting that the offensive lineman has signed a five-year deal worth $14.75 million, with $8.76 million guaranteed.

Bulaga was taken with the 23rd overall pick out of Iowa and is expected to play at left tackle behind veteran Chad Clifton.

Over his three years at Iowa, he appeared in 30 games, including 28 starts, and allowed just 3 1/2 sacks.

Also on Friday, the Packers placed nose tackle Aleric Mullins on the reserve/did not report list.

The AFC South and the NFC East are the favorite divisions to have the next Super Bowl champ among them in the NFL betting odds. However, some predictions have the Atlanta Falcons with possibilities of claiming the divisional title this season in place of the Saints, as no team has won back-to-back division championships since the division realignment took place. Let’s not overlook the AFC North at +500. As TO goes to Cincinnati to join Chad OchoCinco and Adam “Pac-Man” Jones, this team looks to claim the division title again. And it is likely they will do so. The Bengals lost in the AFC Wild Card spot in a hard-fought battle against the New York Jets last season. Lest not forget the Pittsburgh Steelers, the XLII Super Bowl Champions… All these teams present interesting odds and matchups for the upcoming season, but the safest and surest bet seems to be with the Colts in the AFC South and the Cowboys in the NFC East. Academy Award Betting Odds for Best Picture Offer Great Value

If there is any category that is not an obvious win for any one nominee in this year's Academy Awards, it would be for Best Picture.  Sure the Departed is a 5/7 favorite, but that's hardly anything when we look at Helen Mirren and her "out-of-reach" 1 to 40 odds (which means you would win a whopping $1 for every $40 bet).

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
